Recently in Thailand, FPT Telecom International (FTI) has excellently received the Vietnam Technology Excellence Award 2024 in the category of Data Center – Telecommunications, thanks to remarkable improvements in its data center system.

In the context of increasing demand for data and online services, FTI’s data centers play an extremely important role in ensuring the security, stability and continuous operation of the information system. This is an important foundation to promote the digital transformation process, which is becoming increasingly essential today.

The award has affirmed FTI’s continuous efforts in improving capacity and service quality, especially at the two centers Fornix HCM01 in Ho Chi Minh City and Fornix HN02 in Hanoi.

Officially put into operation in 2009, the Fornix HCM01 data center initially consisted of three floors with a total floor area of ​​840 square meters per floor, and a capacity of 710 rack cabinets. By 2023, the center had undergone a comprehensive upgrade and expansion, increasing the capacity to 770 rack cabinets, contributing to bringing greater stability and performance to businesses.

In addition, the Fornix HN02 data center in Hanoi, opened in 2021, has an eight-floor scale with a construction area of ​​about 10,000 square meters, and has also undergone recent upgrades, specifically, the center’s capacity has been increased to 5×250 rack cabinets, compared to 5×210 cabinets in the beginning, while the area of ​​each floor has been expanded to 1,250 square meters.

Data centers with enhanced capacity help improve reliability, performance and minimize risks, thereby bringing peace of mind to customers. This is a clear demonstration of FTI’s continuous affirmation of its position in the data center sector and its commitment to meeting the maximum needs of the market.
